Terms & Conditions
Last updated: September 26, 2026
These terms apply to your use of the Pins & Roses Tattoo website and mobile app, booking-request features, online shop, gift cards, and rewards. App and rewards provisions apply when the relevant feature or program is available. Please also read our Privacy Policy, Deposit Policy, and Return Policy. Nothing in these terms removes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
1. Using our services
Provide accurate information and use only an account or email address you are entitled to use. Do not impersonate another person, access someone else’s requests, misuse staff tools, interfere with the website or app, bypass security or purchase limits, or submit unlawful or abusive material. We may restrict access that threatens security or misuses our services, subject to applicable law.
The website and app are not directed to children under 13. Tattoo eligibility is a separate requirement. Our current studio policy allows guests age 16 or 17 to be tattooed with parental or guardian consent, proper documentation, and the parent or guardian present throughout the appointment. Contact the studio to confirm eligibility and the documents required before making arrangements. Information in the app does not replace the studio’s in-person identification, consent, or safety process.
2. Tattoo requests and appointments
Submitting a booking form sends a request to the studio; it does not reserve a time, guarantee an artist, accept a design, or confirm an appointment. Your artist follows up by email. Please allow up to 72 hours for a response and check that the contact information you supplied is correct. An account’s request history shows submitted requests, including retained requests matched to a verified email address; it is not a confirmed appointment calendar.
Book your own appointment. We do not arrange tattoo appointments through third parties. You may buy a gift card for someone else. Artist availability, services, and portfolios can change. The studio’s published shop minimum is $100 before taxes; your artist provides an estimate for your tattoo. Final services, scope, and pricing must be agreed with the studio.
3. Deposits, cancellation, and rescheduling
A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to book a tattoo appointment and is applied to the final cost of the last session of the tattoo. The deposit must be submitted within 24 hours after receiving an appointment date and time to guarantee that appointment. Deposits are non-transferable.
The full Deposit Policy explains deadlines, lateness, identification, missed appointments, rescheduling limits, design changes, November–December restrictions, and the three-month validity period. Review it before paying. That policy and the arrangements confirmed by your artist govern your appointment, subject to applicable law. An online request or account-deletion request is not a cancellation notice; contact the studio or your artist about an existing appointment.
4. Reference images and artwork
Submit only reference images and other material you have permission to share. You authorize us and the relevant artist to review and use what you submit as needed to discuss, plan, and provide the requested service. Submission alone does not grant us permission to use your private reference photos in public advertising. Tattoo designs and artist portfolios remain subject to their owners’ rights. Do not copy or commercially use studio artwork, photos, branding, or app content without the necessary permission.
5. Shopping and checkout
Products, options, availability, and prices are supplied by our website. Adding an item to a cart does not reserve stock or complete a purchase. Review the selected options, quantities, delivery information, shipping charges, taxes, and final total before paying. App purchases finish in the website’s WooCommerce checkout using the available payment methods, including Square. Closing the browser or returning to the app is not proof of payment; refer to the order confirmation.
Some merchandise is produced or fulfilled by Printful. Processing and delivery estimates are estimates rather than guaranteed arrival dates. Contact us promptly about an order error. If an item cannot be supplied or a material listing error affects an order, we will contact you about an appropriate resolution, including any refund required by law. We will not substitute a materially different item or increase an agreed charge without your agreement.
6. Custom button packs and the optional game
A custom button pack contains the number of buttons shown for that pack. Select the required number of available designs, including repeat designs where allowed. The server checks your selection, stock, and pack price when it is added to the cart and at checkout. A pack is sold as one configured item; the carrier variation used by the shop does not change its displayed contents or price.
A Mystery pack lets the shop choose its designs from available stock. Its exact contents are not shown before purchase. Any optional claw game is a free way to make selections for your draft pack, with unlimited attempts. Playing does not place an order, award cash, reserve stock, or require a purchase. Designs added through the game and the quick picker share the same draft; the normal pack requirements and checkout price still apply.
7. Gift cards
Choose the digital or physical gift-card option shown in the shop. Digital gift cards currently provide $50 of tattoo credit per purchased unit, unless a valid promotion expressly states otherwise. Multiple digital units in one order are combined into one code and value. The code is sent to the purchasing customer’s order email after the order reaches the qualifying processing stage. Physical gift cards follow the physical option’s delivery arrangements and do not automatically generate a digital code.
Keep a gift-card code secure and present it to the studio for redemption. Contact the studio about a missing code or redemption question. The existing digital system records whether a code has been redeemed; it is not an app wallet with an automatically maintained partial balance. Gift cards are non-refundable and non-exchangeable under our Return Policy, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Any legally required redemption, refund, or other consumer right remains available. An expired promotion shown in older material does not apply to a new purchase.
8. Returns and order problems
The Return Policy sets out the shop’s return arrangements. For applicable Printful merchandise, report misprinted, damaged, or defective items within 30 days of receiving them, and lost-in-transit claims within 30 days of the estimated delivery date. The shop does not generally accept buyer’s-remorse returns. Statutory rights still apply. Contact info@pinsandroses.com with the order details so we can help; do not send an item back without arranging the return.
9. Tattoo rewards
When the app rewards program is available, a member starts with zero stamps. An authorized staff member scans the member’s QR code and confirms a completed, paid tattoo visit. There is a maximum of one qualifying visit per member per calendar day in the America/New_York time zone. Consultations, free touch-ups, booking requests, deposits alone, and visits before enrollment do not earn stamps.
Five qualifying visits unlock a discount of up to $50 on the sixth qualifying tattoo visit. Staff applies the discount in the studio; it is not an automatic online coupon. The discount applies only to the tattoo charge and cannot exceed that charge. It has no cash value or carried balance, and stamps do not expire. The sixth-visit redemption resets the cycle to zero; it does not also count as the first stamp of the next cycle.
Keep your QR code and account secure. Sharing a code does not authorize someone to earn stamps or redeem a reward on your behalf. Staff may correct an erroneous latest action, with a recorded reason. Contact the studio if your balance seems wrong. We will communicate material program changes before they apply and honor accrued benefits as required by applicable law.
10. Accounts and communications
App sign-in uses a code sent to your email. Never share a verification code. Verification may link retained older booking requests made with the same email to your account. Contact us about incorrect matches or unauthorized access. Customer sign-in does not authorize staff actions, including when a staff member uses the same email.
Marketing emails and new-product or new-button-design push notifications are optional. Account, booking, purchase, and security communications may still be sent as needed to provide the service. Account-deletion and privacy-request information is in our Privacy Policy. Uninstalling the app does not itself delete an account.
11. Availability and other services
We work to keep information current, but online services can be interrupted or show information that has changed. Contact the studio if a displayed price, artist detail, appointment request, or rewards balance appears incorrect. External services such as Instagram, mapping services, app stores, payment providers, and carriers have their own terms. These terms do not replace any separate informed-consent document used for a tattoo service.
We may update these terms for future use and display the revision date above. Material changes will not retroactively remove rights attached to an existing purchase or service agreement. New Jersey law applies to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law, without taking away any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
